The Session court was established  in the year 1912, Earlier this Sessions Division had jurisdiction over Gurgaon, Delhi and Rohtak Districts. Information and Communication Technology Progress at Sessions Division, Karnal

           A Computer  Server Room and a Judicial Service Centre has been established in this Sessions Division by Supreme Court of India under eCourts project. A Software Case Information System (CIS) is being implemented in Judicial Court Complex, Karnal.

Following work is being done by CIS:

  1. Filing of Cases.

  2. Registration of Cases

  3. Bail Filling

  4. Case Allocation

  5. Cause List Generation

            A website www.haryanajudiciary.gov.in has also been designed by Hon'ble Punjab and Haryana High Court for providing the information about District Courts. For implementing accounts related work an eSalary system has been implemented by Goverment of Haryana in this Sessions Division.
