DISTRICT-LEVEL MONITORING STRUCTURE
Constitution of District SWM Special Cell and subordinate Urban/Rural SWM Special Cells:
A District Solid Waste Management (SWM) Special Cell is hereby constituted at the district level, Chaired by the undersigned, along with two subordinate implementing arms – the Urban SWM Special Cell (Chaired by the Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, Karnal) and the Rural SWM Special Cell (Chaired by the Chief Executive Officer, Zila Parishad, Karnal) – so as to mirror, at the district and sub-district level, the supervisory structure of the SCMC constituted by the Hon’ble Supreme Court. The detailed composition of all three Cells is set out at Annexure-I to this order, and each member shall be deemed nominated to the respective Cell immediate effect.
